2024: Ashbourne Festival Summer Art Exhibition

The Dove and Andy were selected for inclusion in the Exhibition at Ashbourne Town Hall.  They were both sold there.

 

2022: Derbyshire Open Art Exhibition, Buxton

Kitty and the Eagle Stone were selected for inclusion in The Annual Derbyshire Open Art Exhibition at Buxton Museum & Art Gallery.  They were both sold there.

 

2014: European Stone Festival

Ruth participated in the European Stone Festival at Freiburg in Germany in May 2014, creating Auerhahn, which was sold there.  Prior to the event, she created a prototype: Capercaillie.

 

2011/12: Staffordshire Open Studios

Ruth participated in Staffordshire Open Studios in September 2011, exhibiting Up a Gum Tree, Madame Pompadour, On Thin Ice 2, American Squirrel and Pick up a Penguin.  Up a Gum Tree was sold there.  She participated again in 2012, exhibiting Volte-Face, Seal Surfacing, The Ice Cub, Seals and Bronzes.  Volte-Face was sold there.

 

2011: National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, Gordale Nursery & Garden Centre, Wirral

Fox Hunting and American Squirrel were exhibited at this event from 15 to 31 July 2011.  Fox Hunting was sold there.

 

2011: The Open Contemporary Art Exhibition, Stockport Art Gallery

Madame Pompadour was exhibited at this event organised by SKarts from 25 June to 14 August 2011.

 

2011: "A Sense of Place" exhibition, the Art Lounge, The Beehive, 67 Albion Rd, New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire,

Elsa was selected for exhibition at this event from 3 February to 27 April 2011.

 

2011: Erewash Open Arts, The Beetroot Tree, Draycott, Derbyshire

Madame Pompadour, Pick up a Penguin and American Squirrel were exhibited at this event in January and February 2011.

 

2010: Annual Sculpture Exhibition, Mount Pleasant Gardens, Kelsall, Cheshire

Pick up a Penguin, Lookout!, Elsa, Pooch and American Squirrel were exhibited at this event throughout September 2010.

 

2010: National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, Gordale Nursery & Garden Centre, Wirral

Pick up a Penguin, Lookout! and On Thin Ice were exhibited at this event from 16 July to 1 August 2010.  On Thin Ice was sold there.

 

2010: Erewash Open Arts, The Beetroot Tree, Draycott, Derbyshire

Ice Bear, Dancing Bear and 22nd Century Bird were exhibited at this event from 30 January to 14 February 2010.  Dancing Bear was sold at this event.

 

2009/10: Derbyshire Open Art Exhibition, Buxton

Ram was selected for inclusion in The 27th Annual Derbyshire Open Art Exhibition at Buxton Museum & Art Gallery from 27 June to 4 September 2009.  Ayup me Duck was selected for the 28th Exhibition from 26 June to 3 September 2010 and sold there.

 

2009/10: Derbyshire Open Arts

In May 2009 Ruth participated in Derbyshire Open Arts, opening her studio to the public for a long weekend.  The following year she participated as a member of the Limpets Carving Club at Hartington and sold 22nd Century Bird at the event.

 

2009: Art in the Gardens, Sheffield Botanical Gardens

American Squirrel, Pooch, Elsa and Cat and Mouse were exhibited at this event on the weekend of 5th and 6th September 2009.

 

2007/8/9: Limpet Carving Club, Leek (2007), Hartington (2008/9)

Three sculptures, Rearing Polar Bear, Elsa and The Owl & the Pussycat were exhibited at the Limpet Carving Club (successor to the Frink School) in Leek on 1 December 2007 and The Owl & the Pussycat was sold there.  At the December 2008 exhibition Birdwatching and Luscious Cluster were exhibited.  At the July 2009 exhibition Cat and and Mouse and 22nd Century Bird were exhibited.

 

2008: Dovedale Arts Weekend

Rearing Polar Bear and Birdwatching were exhibited at the Dovedale Arts Weekend from 19 to 21 September 2008.  Rearing Polar Bear was sold there.

 

2008: Potteries Museum & Art Gallery Open 08, Stoke-on-Trent

Pooch and American Squirrel were exhibited again at Open 08 at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent from 27 September to 7 December 2008.

 

2007: Derby City Open - 3D

Two of Ruth's sculptures, Pooch and American Squirrel, were selected for inclusion in the Derby City Open - 3D exhibition held from 1 December 2007 to 20 January 2008.  American Black Squirrel was voted as the "People's Choice" at the exhibition.
